Results Teams trophies: 1- Gracie Barra
(Complete Individual Results) http://www.ibjjf.org/results/2010houston.htm With the tournament held at our backyard ( Clear Brook High School, March 6th, 2010), GBTX with the great support of the Gracie Barra Branches in Texas ( The Woodlands, Corpus Christi, Abilene, Rio Grande Valley and Beaumont), gets the overall team title at the biggest and historical BJJ event in the state of Texas. There were 500 competitors (only Juvenile and adults, no kids) and the tournament showed the Texas community how to hold an event with top notch competitors, organization, refereeing and rules system. There were so many stand outs to name here but here the team on the mats, lead by Professor Marcelo, put on a show. EVERYONE, doesn't matter winning or loosing, put on a great effort and EACH one of the GB competitors have to be considered the best. Congrats to all (specially to PROFESSORS CHAD ROBO, LEO CANTU, TYLER BOSSARD, PATRIK HEAD,INSTRUCTOR JEREMY HENDERSON) and please check the www.ibjjf.org for complete results. If there was any question of who is the supreme BJJ team in the state of Texas....after winning the ATAMA open twice in a row, the ADCC Regionals and now the Houston International, we think that this question is answered. See you on the mats! |
