We have exciting news, One of Draculino's top students, 6 time world champion; Romulo Barral will be coming to train with us here at Gracie Barra Texas. Romulo will be teaching a workshop on Thursday 10/22/09 from 7:30pm-9:30pm for only $40.00 a person, but sign up fast because only 25 slots are available. Since this workshop is during the normal time period for the advanced class, we will have an all levels class from 6:30pm - 7:30pm |

Cristiano "Titi" Lazzarini wins No Gi Nationals 2009

Our brother Cristiano "Titi" Lazzarini represents us well as a true Gracie Barra Champion winning both the black belt absolute and super heavy weight divisions. (Gracie Barra) faced Ismael Mota (Carlson Gracie Team) in the blackbelt absolute semifinal. Titi won and went to the finals with Gustavo Pires. They didn't fight for the title however, as they had fought already in the heavy weight and both were representing Gracie Barra. Letter from Professor Draculino from Europe and Kuwait. Guys, I am having a great time ( but with lots of work ) far from home.
The Seminars in Greece/Holland and Poland were awsome! In Greece, I promoted my long time student Aris Chinkayouv to the Balck Belt after 10 years of training. Holland was awesome, where Remco Pardoel's students Jordy Peute and Duane host a great Seminar in Oss. In Poland, we have over 150 people at the Seminar! The TV Crew showed up and did a great interview with me and the highlight of the event was the promotion of Swaveck to the Balck Belt, after 12 years of BJJ training. Besides being a great MMA fighter and competitor, He has a great school with several excelent students. I will be back in 5 days. Miss you guys so much and can't wait to get back on the mat with you again. Thanks a lot for the instructors for the suport and all the students for being the best. See you soon. All the best.
